DescriptionStone Sealer #6 is a more environmentally friendly version of Stone Sealer #5. The sealer is water-based with no solvents or VOC and is non-toxic and nonflammable. It contains a reactive silicone polymer in a water emulsion. It impregnates marble, granite, travertine, slate, and limestone to form a “wet look” protective barrier. This is a combination sealer that offers both the qualities of Stone Sealer #2 and an enhancer in a single bottle. We recommend this sealer for sale to both the general public and the stone fabricating industry.Stone Sealer #6 will cover approximately 500 square feet per gallon for each application. We recommend applying two coats approximately 2 hours apart rather than one thick coat. Do not over-apply the sealer and remove any excess from the surface within 5 minutes using a clean dry white cloth. The natural stone surface should be kept completely dry while the sealer is curing for 24 hours. Apply with a microfiber cloth on small areas such as countertops. However, for larger floor or wall areas apply with a very short nap (1/8″) roller.
