This includes stained and stamped concrete pavers, brick, and mortar, masonry, concrete structures, and concrete aggregate driveways.The sealer is a special water-based UV-resistant acrylic copolymer blend that protects the surface of the concrete. This makes it repellent to water, freezing temperatures, sun, pollution, and staining. This sealer is a VOC Compliant, low-odor, water-based combination of a sealer plus an enhancer.Use on all types of concrete to make it dustproof. it is particularly effective on exposed aggregate surfaces to reduce wear and to eliminate the problem of loose pebbles.Concrete Sealer X-5 provides a protective coating that enhances the effect of our 20 different easy-to-use Concrete Dyes that stain and dry on the concrete in only 5 minutes.It has also been proven as an effective anti-graffiti barrier. It helps to prevent paints, aerosols, and crayons from adhering to the wall and allowing easy removal if they do.Concrete Sealer X-5 meets the following specifications;VOC <15g/LASTM C 309, Type 1, Class A & B AASHTO M-148 Classified in Table 1.1, ACI Standard 302 Corps of Engineers CRD-C304, Type 1 Class A & BDried Coating is USDA AcceptedApplication of Concrete Sealer X-5Easy to apply using a brush, medium nap roller, or low-pressure sprayer at any temperature between 40-80°F. Before treatment, the surface does not need any special treatment, but, it must be water, oil, and dust-free to allow proper penetration of the sealer. Check the surface of your concrete before applying this sealer to ensure it absorbs drops of water within 20-30 seconds. If it beads up then use Eco Concrete Etcher before applying this sealer.Depending on the concrete porosity, the coverage rate is approximately 200 to 400 sf/gal/app. Apply two coats 4 to 6 hours apart rather than one thick coat. Allow to cure for 24 to 48 hours without rain.
