DescriptionStone Sealer #4 is a double-strength reactive silicone polymer in a citrus-based solvent. The solvent is biodegradable and occurs naturally in nature as the main component of orange peel oil. The sealer leaves a natural finish and has a pleasant citrus odor, it is bio-based with a positive environmental profile. It is a safer alternative to petroleum-based solvents and is GRAS-rated (Generally Regarded As Safe). It impregnates marble, granite, travertine, slate, and limestone to form an invisible protective barrier while preserving the natural color of the stone. This sealer is widely used by professionals in the stone fabricating industry. It can be used in many commercial and residential applications.Stone Sealer #4 will cover approximately 500 square feet per gallon for each application. We recommend applying two coats approximately 2 hours apart rather than one thick coat. Do not over-apply the sealer and remove any excess from the surface within 5 minutes using a clean dry white cloth. The natural stone surface should be kept completely dry while the sealer is curing for 24 hours. Apply with a microfiber cloth on small areas such as countertops. However, for larger floor or wall areas apply with a very short nap (1/8″) roller.
