DescriptionStone Sealer #1 is a reactive silicone polymer in low-odor mineral spirits. It impregnates the natural stone surface to form an invisible protective barrier. It produces a natural or invisible finish (no sheen) and does not alter the appearance of the stone surface. This sealer is a low-odor solvent-based product and is widely used by professionals in the stone fabricating industry. It seals all types of natural stone including marble, granite, travertine, slate, and limestone.Stone Sealer #1 will cover approximately 500 square feet per gallon for each application. We recommend applying two coats approximately 2 hours apart rather than one thick coat. Do not over-apply the sealer and remove any excess from the surface within 5 minutes using a clean dry white cloth. The natural stone surface should be kept completely dry while the sealer is curing for 24 hours. Apply with a microfiber cloth on small areas such as countertops. However, for larger floor or wall areas apply with a very short nap (1/8″) roller.
