Apply the sealant firmly into or along the joint. Joint dimensions should be at least 5 x 5mm for indoor and 10 x 8mm (w x d) for outdoor applications. With increasing joint width (up to 30mm), joint depth should be roughly half the joint width. The sealant should be smoothed using a suitable tool and water or non-staining water-based smoothing agent. Working time is approximately 30 minutes (15 minutes for translucent). Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C. ROCATEX FGS Ultimate Silicone must not be used in aquarium construction, as a mirror adhesive or for underwater applications. Low temperature, low humidity and joint depth above 15mm will retard skin formation and curing significantly.
