As you work, remove any excess grout from the surface of the tiles. Once the grout begins to firm up in the joints, clean off any residues with a damp sponge, ensuring the sponge is damp (not wet) and rinsed frequently in clean water. After the grout has fully set, any remaining haze can be wiped away with a dry, clean cloth.*At 20°C, grout on ceramic tiles will begin to firm up after roughly 20 minutes, while on porcelain tiles, it will take about 45 minutes.ProJoint TileJam Setting Times and Service ConditionsAt 20°C, ProJoint TileJam will be ready for light foot traffic after 3 hours. The grout will reach full strength in 24 hours, after which normal use can resume in dry areas. For showers and other wet environments, a minimum of 3 days is required before the area can be used. Outdoor installations should be shielded from frost and rain for 48 hours while the grout cures. For installations over underfloor heating systems, do not activate the heating for 10 days after grouting.
